It Ain't Pretty
But at least it looks like she is on the mend. She came to school today with it uncovered. I took her to the health office and we covered it with a loose gauze dressing, so it could still breath, but not get dirty.

yikes,.. that poor girl. looks like brent might have hit it right on the button. :)
That would be my guess too. Did she ever go to the doctor for this? How could you send your kid to school with that all open? I don't understand some parents these days.
Yeah, she's going to a specialist. He's the one that apparently told the mom to keep it uncovered. It's just too risky to leave it open at school so we have been covering it loosely with gauze and taping it up a bit. It still breaths that way but doesn't get moist and also keeps the germy environment off it. In fact she misses school today because she's going back to the doctor.
