Andrew goes to Public School. And as such is subject to the normal indoctrination that occurs there. Wednesday was Earth Day, with capital letters of course..... Andrew was a bit miffed with us for the following activities, which we did on, or immediately prior to Earth Day.
Fire..........
Cutting down trees. Andrew was NOT happy, and we cut LOTS of them.
But planting lots of trees did help a little. John, one of Matt's old roommates came to help and he said he might celebrate Earth Day by buying a chainsaw next Earth Day........

Too funny, I remember having to deal with a few of my kids coming home with some weird ideas, it was quite the time helping them to differenciate between the worlds stand point and the Lords, it was a great teaching point as a parent though, and it taught me to always try and stay in touch with what they were learning at school.
