This picture is taken from Guano Point, the structure on the left is a cable base for an old mine which was on the other side of the river in that large crack near the helicopter somewhere. Apparently there was a bat cave over there. We wondered how the heck they ever found it......
Here is the Sky Walk, it's something like 4,000 feet straight down and yes, you are walking on glass.
I have to tell you, It doesn't matter that intellectually you KNOW it's safe to walk on the glass, you keep finding yourself walking on the edges and gingerly at that.
So here is are a couple of pictures of the progress on the bridge at Hoover Dam. Since they lost their one-of-a-kind crane to high winds awhile back, the job is going slower. But it's coming along.
And here is the current water level on the lake.

When did you go to the Grand Canyon?
We got up at 4:00 this morning.
I'm a little diappointed. I really wanted to see a photo of your feet, with the canyon bottom 4000 feet below.
Finding bat caves is easy. Wait until just before dark. . .
I kinda wanted to also, however, they absolutely do not allow cameras out on the "bridge". The picture of us on the bridge we had to fork over cash for.
Fine, finding bats "might" be easy, but we ARE talking the Grand Canyon here. The operative word being Grand. And we are talking about a cliff.
They thought they would get more out of it then they did. Apparently the lower guano had become too hard/old/petrified.
