Back around the first of November, one of my student's mother had a baby. The kid in my class is 6 now. This new baby is his only sibling. For a week or so I would ask him how it was going and he would always be so excited about the new baby in his family. Apparently that has changed. It has to be hard to go from an only child status to suddenly NOT being the center of your mother's life....... After two months I guess he has had enough.
A few days ago he asked his mother about wrapping the baby up and mailing it off to someone else. Mom said, "No, we can't do that." So he thought about it a bit and then decided that he wanted to go VISIT his aunt and take the baby. Apparently the idea was that they would go, but the baby wouldn't be coming back with them........

hahahaha,... he thought the thing they "couldn't do" was wrapping it up and mailing it huh? But if you hand deliver the baby, that works alright. haha.
