Hannah came over after church yesterday for a couple of hours before dinner. Vickie decided to wrap up the fruitcake for Carrie. She explained to Hannah that it wasn't a REAL present and that it was a secret and a surprise. Since it wasn't a real present, Hannah wrote a note for Carrie (who can read of course) that said, "NOPE, NOT TODAY". Then, she announced to everyone, keeping in mind that it was a secret and a surprise, "It's a FAKE present........"
Bryan, said, "It's the fruitcake...."
It's apparent from their expressions, that the fruitcake has been out of circulation TOO LONG.

Just where was that thing hiding all this time?
Sometime around the time that Hester got married, she placed it in our house. For awhile, there was some discussion about exactly WHERE it might be. Then in March of last year (2007) we found it. In plain sight, on the floor in our bedroom.

Too funny. they look in absolute terror. haha. what kind of a present is this,... hahaha.
