We turned in our rental car in Rochester, and caught the Amtrak down to Penn Station in NY City. It was a 7-8 hour trip but wasn't nearly the stressful event driving had to have been for Nate and his family, especially on the NY City end of the trip. Looking at the map, it looked like we pretty much took the same route most of the way. Nate and Betsy took our small suitcases in the car with them, so when we got into Penn Station, we just had our backpacks, and we took our time and enjoyed the 8-10 block walk to the hotel. We went up Broadway through Times Square.Wednesday, July 23, 2008

The picture in Time Square, for some reason you guys aren't smiling and you don't look too happy?
Have you ever tried to get Nate and Betsy's kids to pose for pictures? Especially after the 10th time in one day, and we are on maybe day 4? And we are doing a lot of walking and not everything is what the kids want to be doing........
