Last New York Post - maybe

I did go back through the various previous posts and put in some commentary.


Hazel functioned as a very effective wake up call. She starts by lifting the sleeping victims eye lids and moves on from there. You DO wake up. By the time she was done Toby was laughing.

We kept going past this little park, near our hotel, finally we stopped for a look, it's a memorial to the firemen from the station across the street. 15 men lost lives in 9/11

This fire house was a half of a block from our hotel and over 60 blocks from the Twin Towers.

Almost every corner in the busiest parts of Manhattan has some kind of vendor on it. These are food vendors, but you can buy just about anything, art, clothing, etc.

Big hot soft pretzels, chicken or beef kabobs, donuts, muffins, coffee, tea, assorted soft drinks, all good. We got breakfast this way a couple of times. I'm going to miss them, I bought a lot of food from these guys.

THESE guys are criminal, there ought to be a law against creating that kind of smell on the street, the hot nuts smelled SO GOOD.

Parking spaces are at a premium. With real estate costing what it does there, it's hard to make a parking lot that pays. This is one solution that we saw in several places. I can understand why people here might not own a car.

They have a version of these in London as well, amphibious tour buses that can go into the water.
