As we speak, the plane is scheduled to depart around 8:30. This for a flight that we were told to arrive at the airport at 2:00 for an original departure time of 5:00.....
We are going to visit Matt and Kristi and family. Maybe.......
Just think, if we had left the house when Jeremy did this morning and driven, we would be there by now.
Update: It is now 11:00 Vegas time, we spent a pleasant two hours on the plane, on the ground, and now we are OFF the plane getting ready to try our THIRD plane and gate. At least we never actually GOT ON the first plane they took out of service.........
Update on the Update....... It was 1:00am before we took off. Some people who deplaned from the other plane, failed to show up, many no longer had their boarding passes and the seat count was off. 9/11 regulations won't allow a plane to take off without everyone accounted for.
When we FINALLY got to our destination, after 2:00, There were all of the people on the ground waiting for the return leg of the flight. The ones who were supposed to get on our plane back around 8:00pm on our original flight schedule........ We felt bad for them.
