We are up visiting Mom and Dad and staying with Jeremy and Robin for a few days. Jeremy and Robin are well into all of those meetings that teachers have to attend just before school starts.
So today we are watching Olivia and Garrett. We took Olivia to get some new school shoes at Walmart and while there we got something for Garrett as well.
A little background-- this summer while they were in West Virginia, Robin's sister Jennifer redecorated the kid's bedrooms. http://utahbrunnerclan.blogspot.com/2007/07/home-again-home-again-jiggidy-jig.html Garrett as a result (or maybe already was) is VERY into Lightning McQueen from the movie "Cars". So, when we got Olivia her shoes, we got Garrett a 3-pak of Lightning McQueen underwear. I'm amazed he didn't strip down right there in the store to try them on............ (that had more to do with the fact that he couldn't get the packaging open than anything)
Anyway, after doing the shopping we dropped by Mom and Dad's for a visit and took the kids. Garrett was totally entertained with his new underwear for the whole hour or so we were there.
To be three years old.
