One of the transition activities that they had us do today during staff development was this song they wrote.
Sung to the tune of "The Twelve Days of Christmas". I'll just do the last verse:
On the Twelfth day at Craig the construction gave to me,
Twelve alarms a ringing, (fire alarms all the time)
Eleven cats a lying,
Ten extra portables, (portable classrooms)
No computer access,
Eight toilets flushing,
Mice in the lounge,
Six miles of fence,
Five frozen sandwiches, (great foodservice with no kitchen)
Lots of nuts and bolts,
Three leaky roofs,
Two dusty shoes
And one cheap yellow hard hat.
