Concert started at 9:oo pm. Collective Soul came on at 10:30. Still, it was a great concert. The Hard Rock in Vegas is maybe a bit of an unusal concert venue. It's outside, standing only, unless you are in the pool. Which a lot of people were. So how would this be for a job description: Lifeguard, poolside during a rock concert with a bunch of drunk people in the pool. At night....... One of the specials at the concert was all you could drink for $25.00. People watching was a lot of fun. (Well, except for the obnoxious drunk in the cabana next to us who for some reason thought we wanted to talk to him..........several times. And his buddy with the cigar. I didn't know they still had cigarette girls- Vegas style.........
Collective Soul was great. Nate sent us CD's so we could learn all the songs before we went to the concert.
Collective Soul one hour concert, give or take a few minutes.
Getting off of the seventh floor of the parking garage at the Hard Rock, longer................ and it seemed MUCH longer.
Still, a great time, and we got to bed by 2:00.
