Nashville, Tn

This is the view down Broadway into the Honky Tonk Disrict in Nashville from the top of the convention center. I'm here for a national kindergarten conference. That's the Cumberland River in the background. The Grand Ole Opry is too far out, they have shuttles, but we wouldn't get to go but at night and if we went to a show, the shuttles quit running before the show's over.........

This is from down on Broadway in the Honky Tonk District, looking back up towards the convention center. The lady in the bottom right corner is a teacher at my school, I fit her in nicely, don't you think.........

Second Avenue runs parallel to the river, it's tree lined and has these cool period buildings on the street. B B King's Blues place is just up the street, don't know if it is/was his place or just has his name, we might go there tomorrow night. It's funny to see all of the tourists and the occaisonal wannabe with guitar on their back walking up the street. If you do this kinda music this place has got to be like Mecca.

With you in TN, Nathan and his family in DC, and us in WV we could have done the reunion somewhere on the east coast.
