We are watching this reading video yesterday and it is about a horse named Sue. The story called her a MARE. I stopped the video and asked the kids if they knew what a mare was. None of them did, so I explained that a mare was a girl horse. Then I asked them if they knew what you called a boy horse?
After some thought, one of the kids raised his hand, and I asked, "Yes Jared?" He said, "Joey?"...................
